The convoy attack follows a resurgence in high – level coordinated attacks by the FLA and JNIM in Mali, reminiscent of their campaign in Apr. Description: The foreign ministers of ASEAN will hold an informal meeting with their counterpart from Myanmar on Jul 12 in Bangkok, according to the foreign ministries of Thailand and Vietnam. Description: Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, conducted an official state visit to Baghdad, where he met with Iraq’s Oil Minister, Basim Mohammed and Iraqi Prime Minister, Ali al-Zaidi. Description: Africa’s Centre for Disease and Control Prevention warned that the Ebola outbreak in eastern DRC is threatening to spread on a scale never seen before. The African CDC also stated that large portions of the population in the North Kivu, South Kivu and Ituri haven’t been properly tested and threated, while the ongoing conflict between the government and the M23 rebel alliance has made things much more difficult.
